Full Submersion

Like learning a new language, it usually doesn’t fully stick until you live among those speaking the language or at least interacting regularly with people that only speak that language – life is the same way. We naturally become who we allow to influence us, share experiences with and how we use our time.

I remember wondering about this when I would see people sharing the goodness of the amazing grace of God through Christ while I was slipping in and out of this world, new age and the complete just loss sense of living. I have even seen it as I share the goodness of God now how people say, “I don’t even know you anymore.” or “What happened for you to become so full of faith?”. I get it. When we are so focused, consumed and wrapped up in the things of this world it makes it easy to question and think weird.

Most people these days will go to work, share some interactions that may or may not mean much and then go home and sit and allow a total disconnect of anything while being fed news, shows or other media substance. There is a very real agenda or distraction that creates the greatest separation of all. This is why those who have received the amazing grace and knowing of what it means to have life seem so out of place in this world.

You see, everything changes absolutely everything changes when you not only know and believe but allow the complete saving to take place; and just as with any restructuring there has to be a complete submersion because you know what it looks like to go backwards and it won’t be pretty… it just isn’t worth it to allow any amount of darkness in when you see how important the Light really is.

Have you tasted and seen how good it is? Do you want to? Your life is truly worth knowing as He sees you.
