Have you heard this before? “Behind every man is a woman who either built him or broke him.” I have personally heard this in ways of motivation and in ways of manipulation, I have seen it in the case of a mother and or in the case of a wife. As with most things in life there is duality and duplicity but I come to write this post from reading the Bible.
I have been reading the Bible from the beginning and also throughout regularly. Reading through the Old Testament takes a bit of time because of the amount of pain that humans have inflicted and gone against our Father, but it is valuable to know still as it shows just how much our God loves us throughout everything. I had just finished the second book of Kings and whew is it rough. I think the thing that hurts my heart most is that God never wanted His people to have a king outside of Him. He knew the hearts of all and that only He could reign as all His creation needs. Then to see just how terrible the kings were to the land, the people and how few of them actually sought the Lord to be pleasing in His eyes… heart breaking.
Anyways… back to the women. So as each king was listed as the one to sit on the throne, the mothers were listed right behind them along with where the women came from. There is also the facts that Solomon strayed from God because of the wives from other nations that he took and how he chose to appease them and their idol worshipping more than his duty to our God. So, yes we as women do have the ability to build or break a man and if I am being honest it is shown all the way back to the fall. While I know that Adam was supposed to hold His loyalty to our Father and His commands bringing his wife in alignment with him; Eve allowed for the manipulation and brought it to her husband instead of seeking the guidance from our Father first.
This is all quite a big topic and not easy for a lot to digest but it is something I believe is necessary to ponder in our hearts while doing our best to align with our Father and Jesus the true King over everything. We owe it all to God and He deserves our dedication. So, while we all have a responsibility to turn to God with all our heart, all our soul and all our might; as a woman and mother this confirms my conviction in raising my son to know, love and seek our Father in and with everything, to know our Lord Jesus Christ intimately and to allow the Holy Spirit presence in and through every moment with great appreciation in all.
We are all given a purpose which is indeed our ministry for Him. While we have been given free will to choose how we want to live, it is when we ask for His will to be done that life begins. Our lives are His, He made us in and for His image therefore nothing we are and have is ours for real but given to us for His purposes.
In what ways have you felt God getting your attention to be part of His great vision?
Do you find any value in my revelations and sharings? Would you add value back to me or share with others that might appreciate? Giving is one of the greatest gifts from our Father, He loves to give to us and therefore appreciates when we give to others and always gives back. I can accept donations at givesendgo and also at the bottom of this page. I always pray over all contributions and give to God.
“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19
God is good and worthy of all our commitment in life. Thank you for being part of this time and sharing.
