Water Your Worth

As talked about in the previous post, everything is a form of currency and exchange that determines our type of worship and to what. Let’s take it a little bit further now with the acknowledgment of rates and taxes.

Almost always an exchange is going to cost you something. Sometimes it is an even exchange and other times it can take your peace, your rest, your standards… it goes on. This becomes even more apparent when someone is giving something to you. You can see this most in dating – there comes a time when one (often the female) feels like there is either implied or just felt pressures to “go further” for the time, money and effort spent…

I remember in economics learning about “No such thing as a free lunch” and I see it often in life especially now. Which makes me actually put up more barriers especially after seeing and even falling for scams that have cost time, money and peace. Thankfully there are a lot of the attempts that the enemy has sent my way that I have seen through or asked for greater discernment and conviction to know better. But, the fact still is that there comes a point when there is a certain expectation to fulfill either to establish some satisfaction in themselves or to receive something in return.

The key for me is making sure that I do not compromise myself or my standards and that I do not allow any negative influence with my child. Now, while I am not a fan of seeing people ask for help on their platforms… I am going to put it out there to see if anyone who subscribes or casually reads these posts would be able to show some form of support. Every little bit helps and every bit of contribution from this site confirms and encourages my writing while staying in alignment with my values and standards for life. While I did not expect this post to go this way and I do not like asking so outwardly… I also know that you must ask in order to receive and I know that is a worthy lesson for all to apply. I would assume that at least weekly you go to a store, look at things and buy the things that you feel is worth adding to your life, eating or just simply spending your money on. While I may not be writing blogs every day, I am writing and contributing to something every day trusting in God’s purpose inspiring me to do so. Did you know that often times when we give to one another it is seen as tithing to our Father? For everyone, not just specific congregations or denominations, are the body of church with Jesus the Christ as the head.

I am grateful for every bit of everything – lessons, strengths and so very much, and I know that ALL is in God’s perfect hands. Are you answering and responding to Him when you hear Him tell you do something? Do you know how treasured you are when you follow through and then how good it actually feels to do so?

While it is important to acknowledge the rates and fees that take place in your exchanges there is a greater exchange that actually gives back and it is when we are in alignment with how we are seen by Him and when we help Him be hands and feet in this sunken world.
