Water Your Worth

There is something that hits so deep and has been around for ages and ages and breaks our Father’s heart so much…

If gone unnoticed it brings death upon yourself and your family. But! If it is realized, repented and turned around with proper dedication and change of ways there is great redemption to be had.

These days there are more idols than most want to acknowledge. Giving power to stones, stars, pieces of wood and statues that were “crafted” by man out of God given supplies. Even burning of sage with an idea that it will disperse negative spirits is a form of idolatry that actually only stirs up more darkness only it becomes a working with the darkness instead of a clearing of. Even some over use of phones, great attachment to vehicles and focus on “what’s in it for me” mentality are forms of worship on the material over the One that spoke matter into existence.

I am able to see and speak on this because I fell into the trap of the “spiritual” new age agenda for a chunk of my life and it really messed me up. As a child I was already connected to the spirit realm (it is a very real aspect of life and one that the Bible equips us on how to address), but there was only one person that was able to familiarize with my sensitivity and they themself got sucked into the new age slide, so they thought that it would help me to introduce me to “working with it” through cards and stones. The only support I received at a young age and for a while in life was from the seeming but rather just unknowing people influenced by the enemy and dark spirits through the new age agenda. Yes, I do see it to be an agenda of the enemy, the evil one, a crafty trick to disillusion people to thinking that they are living a “spiritual life” instead of being idol worshipers.

Most people believe that there is indeed a force greater than all things which I also see is why they think that stones and other things have some sort of power for them. Most people when they get themselves in a situation where they are scared and need real help will at least ask their one friend to ask them for prayers – knowing that there is power beyond ourselves and a power that established existence and is the ultimate power to help turn situations around. The problem is that, whether out of their own fear or lack of will, they just don’t want to face the truth that they have turned away from the one that thought that life needed one of them in it.

There came a time in my life when I threw out my cards and asked Jesus to come back into my life and it was at the exact moment that I really needed Him. Spirits will work with you as long as you are feeding the darkness in some form but when you start to shift and see through things they turn and it is only Jesus who makes them stop. I know it sounds like a lot of woo woo that most will binge shows about but not face the fact that it is real. (Even watching those shows feeds them.) Yes, I am serious and yes this is a very serious issue. There is a reason why the second command to live well is that there should be no other god than the One true God. But, here is the most beautiful amazing grace ever… when we turn our ways, get rid of the disrespectful and disgraceful items and realize that we are to give our full devotion to the One and only God Almighty – His heart turns back from being broken for the loss of you to gaining the fuel and joy to sharing His love and plans with you.

As I became a mom, well even during pregnancy, I knew the importance of establishing a solid foundation in and with God through Christ. So as I made the decision and invitation to dedicate my child to Him, it was more than just a decision to shepherd my child to The Shepherd, it was personal. I know the dangers and harms that can take place if the enemy gets any amount of a foothold in a life. I know the how important it is to keep that love of our Lord present through childhood. And it now seems like due to what I experienced and am becoming that He is using me to help awaken the lost path within so many these days, the ones who think they are on a good path but yet know there is something missing in their life and that eternity is not met through the wearing of a stone and the longing is not soothed by any amount of burn. There is One that satisfies all these and more and is waiting for you to just turn to Him and say, “I have lost sight, I don’t know where I am or what I am doing anymore… Do you? Will you come and help me?” Just be real and know that you have been given breath on purpose and that life can only be brought into real life from real life.

You don’t even have to do everything all at once. He meets you where you are and bit by bit as you are ready, He helps you remove the things, ways and crafts that have been brought into your life that are stealing from you. The world and the enemy took years from you, influencing this false idea in almost everything that you do, it will take time to heal and restore. So, give your own self grace and space as you come to Him but don’t let that keep you from going to Him – just go as you are and let Him help you. There is greater for you and it is sooo worth it.
