Shareworthy Lessons

As every other blogger and influencer of many types shares these lists and things on what to do differently this year, I would like to just share lessons (in general) that are valuable for me and possibly you and it just so happens that most people pay attention to this kind of posting now. I know that there is some definite importance and need in the record keeping and motivational encouragement for a new time of reference, I also think that sometimes we lose sight of the bigger picture and focus in on what we have been trained to follow. But! We have now started 2025! Wow, seems almost unreal and yet here we are now in that time that movies talked about where there are animated virtual people as ads at the bus stops instead of posters, digital payment systems and a seeming ever looming darkening of the environment. But, let’s stay focused here (I say to myself). It is a new calendar year and a time when most of the world will create forms of resolutions on what they will attempt to do or be differently than the last calendar year. I do not think resolutions are actually helpful, there tend to circumstances, interactions, relationships, emotions and just all around changes that are out of our control that come up and there is no way to know how to create the perfect list to work with all that will come up. Shoot! Sometimes just one day is more than I expected or could work with. So, I will just focus on somethings that I think simple, deep and worth sharing that I have learned, continue to learn and maybe it will help someone else along the way. (Written in instruction form, just in case it is something that one might be able to use for their current times.)

So, without further ramblings…

First and always. Give it to God because His ways are greater than ours and He is the only one that knows it all and how to best operate around it in our own way and for His way.

Start to notice how things feel, for real for real feel not just the feelings that are pushed on you with the media… is it refining you – burning away things that are either distracting or pulling you away from your purpose in God’s great plans? Or do you feel a closeness and a confidence in being a child of God? This is a deeper discerning than just “does it make you feel good or bad?”, this is a feeling that is in your spirit, your spark of life – for instance, I have had to let go of a lot of past relationships in order to focus on who God needs me to be. Did it feel good? Absolutely not! But(!), it was something that definitely needed to take place so that I was not influenced by others and that I continually turned to my heavenly Father and Jesus instead. [Side note: this is something I see that the enemy has really taken hold of and uses to his advantage – using people’s feelings in a way that feels right but is really an illusion pulling them away from their purpose and more into an image, trends and others that are lost. So, please, please, please! Use deep introspective discernment.]

Heal! Heal in ways that you have not yet given yourself permission to heal. This one is tough and sometimes (again) can be used against us, but(!) it is huge. When healing allow the feelings, the discomfort and the process and then take it straight to Jesus! No one else will truly know what to do with it, no one else will fully know what you are feeling or how to sit with you through it and no one else will know the full picture. Now, I am not saying don’t seek out help or counseling, definitely do it that is something that will help you progress – I personally have gone through lots of counseling sessions through the years but I kept seeking validation from others, when I realized that the greatest and most influential counselor I could ask for is Jesus I stopped looking for confirmation from the world because I knew that I was seen, loved and on purpose.

Always do more than asked of you. The smallest of tasks can make the biggest effect and even though it might not ever be acknowledged or seen by humans… your Father in heaven sees all and it pleases Him greatly when you care for His creation.

Change the perspective, instead of a new year and a new you… What if we accepted that we are made with intention, are loved and needed? New Year New View! View yourself from your all loving, miracle creating Father in Heaven who wants to be in your life, wants to do life with you and wants to see you continue because He made you. Who is with me on this? Are there any points here that you have felt or can see? Let me know your thoughts and let’s change views!
