I know! I said farewell and yet the posts are still flowing in and then guess what? God said “I will instruct in the ways that you should go” and He placed it in a Pastor’s heart to make sure that I had my blogsite renewed and then confirmed through another saying, “You need to write a book!” When God says write… I write and if He wants us to do something He makes sure it is taken care of. Hallelujah!
Here is what I am learning lately. The more time we spend with Him the more time we somehow have, the more we learn with Him the more we thirst for Him and the more we rely on Him seeing that we children are literally nothing compared to Him (not nothing in the negative sense but nothing in the knowing that we are because of Him and it is only Him that fill us up with what we are supposed to be accordingly) and the more we rely on Him the more comes and the greater the relationship becomes. It really is the most beautiful places to be – “beneath His wings”.
As it is spoken by my Lord and written in John 4:14, “… but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” There is so much in these statements and the declarations Yeshua shared at the well with a woman who desperately needed a renewed life and He carefully orchestrated this meeting specifically with her and for her to share who He was – but let’s stay focused. When we let go of our own resources and quench the the thirst to do it all on our own we are actually satisfied beyond what we could with worldly hydration – choose to be with Him and pull sustenance from Him and there will never be a lacking. The more we give our attention to and our connection with Him the more He fills us up not only for ourselves but to overflow into others as well and ultimately for the Glory of the One who wants us to be Home with Him.
“There is no place I would rather be…” I said to Him in prayer recently as He refreshes my soul and draws me in more and more. There is truly no one else that I want to please and it is so very life giving – the most life giving attention I have ever given and had.
Let this post be a call to you. He is calling you, I know it because He has a call specifically for each of us… it is the call into life as He intends. He knows what is best and wants your best. Choose to turn to Him and just simply ask, “Please, sir, may I drink of this water…” and honestly ask Him, “What do you want me to do with this moment, how can I come into life properly?” He will lead, He truly loves you more than you could ever fully comprehend. It is sooo worth it!
